– From robot vacuum cleaners, smart thermostats, smart bulbs to kitchen utensils, all these are smart items that use Artificial Intelligence to perform tasks and follow instructions. Voice assistants are also being incorporated in these home appliances as well as.
– Automotive applications such as self-driving cars rely on AI and machine learning to build the necessary navigation and perception for the passengers without requiring the intervention of the driver. Although fully self-driving autos are under development, related cars that leverage AI represent a significant innovation.
This is especially so, given the increasing sophistication of AI technologies that underpin these systems, allowing ever more facets of both our digital and physical worlds to become adaptive, anticipatory, and proactive, in how they respond to us, and how they meet our requirements and expectations. The future of AI looks promising and the technology is expected to become increasingly integrated into people’s daily experience. On the one hand, people are grateful for the opportunity to use AI and its benefits, on the other hand, the regulation of ethical AI development is also justified, as it allows maintaining the rights of users and preserving their privacy.
